A chat with Ms. Betty

She is living testimony of some of the historical Roots still present in Austin. She was born across from Huston-Tillotson University and Mt. Olive Baptist church in the Masontown Area of Austin, where she attend Blackshear elementary school, a key institution for African American education during segregation and recognized Texas historical Site.
